Atithi Devo Bhava is very popular phrase in India and top Bollywood
star Aamir Khan has been selected to promote it and he is working as brand
ambassador of “Atithi Devo Bhava Campaign”. The main motive of the slogan is to
raise guest respect in people’s heart and make tourists love to visit India
again. Atithi Devo Bhava reflects meaning as “Guest is equivalent to God” (In
Hindi: Mehman Bhagwan Ke Samaan Hai).
To promote the campaign
several advertisements are currently running on television and radio channels,
apart from this print media also playing a vital role in it. Indian Government
promoting the “Atithi Devo Bhava Campaign” especially for non-sensitive people
who are dishonest and usually makes foreigners fool that’s why it straightly
