Asahishnuta Meaning in English

Asahishnuta is a pure Hindi word for intolerance in English and now days popular in Indian politics due to several statements on this matter made by celebrities. It is the synonymous of another Hindi word “Asahanshilta”. The one who can’t accept the opinion of others no matter that opinion is right or wrong; could be defined as Intolerant.

On who is unable to accept others culture without any sufficient reason could be defined as Intolerant. This word got rapid popularity in India when ruling party and opposition picked up this word to define the opinion of Indians for non-Indian cultural people. Even one time this word became the temporary face of religious differences.

After that this word picked by media and they put it into flash. But in actual this is just a word which directly meaning in English “One Who can’t tolerate”. When this word got popular various then definitions came into flash like: Intolerant word could be used for one who can’t accept other’s behaving. As per another definition “One who can’t tolerate values and principles of other religions will be categorized under Intolerant category”. Even Asahishnuta is a bad quality but if someone is intolerant for any wrong behave then it’s good.
