Kangan Meaning in English

Kangan is round bangle type chain or band which is used to wear by ladies on the wrist especially on various occasions. It is very popular in countries like: India where ladies prefer to wear heavy jewelries. Kangan is known as Bracelet in English. It seems like a bangle but slightly more thick in size and there is some design on it including some pearls and other fancy items. Ladies also prefer it in silver and other colours but Bracelets are too much popular in golden. Even bracelets are very normal to wear by ladies but on marriage ceremony wearing bracelet is a part of rituals and bride wears heavy jewelry including Kangan.

Due to the same color turmeric also known as a synonymous of Kangan in Hindi language apart from this the yellow colored mustered also known as Kangan but these synonymous are not so much popular that’s why the top above definition is preferred to read and accept. As per another definition of Kangan, a thread which dumps in the wet dough and fasten on the wrist of both (Bridegroom and Bride) just before few days of marriage as the part of rituals known as Kangan.
