Today is the time of online social presence, there is a virtual world where everyone has his/her own value and popularity graph. With each passing day; hundreds of new social websites getting added in the Internet dictionary but the two that are on the top are Facebook and Twitter. People across the world use these two websites to make their presence in this virtual world. But the numbers of people who use Twitter is less than Facebook users.  Now the question is why people don’t want go with Twitter. What is the reason working behind it? We are here to tell you about the actual difference between these two social websites.

Facebook: This social website provides a large number of opportunities like add someone in your virtual friend list, like, share, create page etc. Today every sixth person in this world has their own Facebook profile that’s why people who are new could easily catch his/her classmates, old friends and cousins through Facebook. It defines itself as “open world” where everyone is free to send a friend request to anyone no matter in which country he/she lives. Other side there is another website exist named Twitter which is not enough popular as Facebook but if you are a celebrity and people want to follow you then Twitter is best for you.

 

Twitter: Twitter doesn’t give any special opportunity to its users, it is just a blog where people can talk, post, re-post using 140 characters. In other words Twitter is just like a Facebook Page. But still it is not so popular because achieve a like on facebook page is easy as compare to get a follower on twitter. This social platform is only for those who are popular in real life like celebrities, ministers or organizations. In simple word Twitter in a Micro-blog where you can express your thoughts in 140 characters. Political parties, government bodies, celebrities, Presidents, Ministers, News Channels etc are using Twitter that’s why it is much effective and much valued than Facebook.

Other side Twitter is a group of people who don’t want to make fun but want to give a specific meaning to their online presence.
