Inquilab Zindabad Meaning in English

Inquilaab word was firstly used during the independence movement of India, even this word was used so many times but get popular when it’s used by Bhagat Singh when he bombed the Central Delhi Assembly shouted this slogan. After this incident this word became backbone of the Indian Independence Movement. All Bhagat Singh supporters shouted this slogan and demanded to leave him.

As per the meaning the Inquilaab word also spelled as Inqlaab/Inklaab is an Urdu word which means in English is “Revolution” same as if we translate it in Hindi then it will be pronounced as “Kranti”. After that when “Zindabad” word joint with “Inquilaab”; it reflects a combine meaning as “Long Live the Revolution”. The word become so much popular because powers which was trying to make India free from British Rule; was want to make a regular and long revolution till India actually acquire freedom from British.

In simple words; Inquilaab Zindabad is a slogan popularized by Shaheed Bhagat Singh during Independence movement of India and its meaning in English is “Long Live of Revolution”. There is General knowledge question also put by the examiners like “Who given the slogan of Inquilaab Zindabad” etc. That’s all about this slogan which also used by Chandrashekhar Azad and all other independence activists.
